Yes, I was quite fascinated by the hanging wine glasses on top of the bar where we were led to while waiting for our table. It was mesmerizing, which added to classy dimness of the establishment. I remember reading their ‘house rules’ within their bar menu, which stated that each wine glass was individually cleaned by a person, glass by glass. Oh, and had cute rules saying how men should treat women as ladies and how each man should be a gentleman, pretty much everyone should act proper.

L: Pablow – Pineapple, pink grapefruit, orange, peychaud’s bitters and soda $9, R: Ananas and Coco – Coconut water sweeten with coconut syrup, lime and hopped pineapple soda $9.

While waiting for our dishes, I kept looking about it was like stepping into some James Bond set, you know those dim fine-dining settings it was just like that. All the waiters were wearing neat suits, some pure white and others pure black. It was a bit hard to hear my partner speaking at times not because of the light music playing but because everyone was in conversation, which is understandable. There was a mixture of friends and couples within the place, the table setting was beautiful and the waiters were somewhat attentive, was having a bit of difficulty catching one.

Entrée: Sautéed Prawns in garlic with faro, green olives and pistachios $24 – A tasty blend, kept wanting more.

His: Crispy rock flathead fillets with “crazy water” $49 – Delicate fish was soft in texture there was an absence of sinew on the fish, the “crazy water” had a hint of lemon grass. Butter was too oily for him, but overall he rates it a 6/10.

20140125_221546_resizedHers:  Wood fire grilled house made pork sausages with braised lentils, fennel, kale and roast apples $35, it was like cutting into pillows, just lovely to bite into.

Dessert: Warm rhubarb, strawberry and almond pudding with vanilla sauce $23 – when the waiter poured the vanilla sauce onto the dessert, I was already eagerly wanting to dip into it. The strawberry deep within it was too sweet for my liking but the warmness was delightful with the almond.

Forgotten what teas we had, but it was refreshing after a fine dinner. They also gave us a small bowl of caramel popcorn.

Beautiful service, place and fresh food, I would recommend this place for anyone and any occasion. Might go back to try their doughnuts in their dessert menu, because it wasn’t available when we came.
