I absolutely adore dogs, I wish I had 2 great big ones. I keep telling my boyfriend that I just want one child, and 2-3 dogs. We went to the annual Blacktown Pet Festival, held at the Blacktown Showground, Richmond Road from 10am – 2pm.
You would find yourself amongst, great beasts such as the like of German Shepherds and St. Bernards. Also, from small dogs such as the dachshunds, pomeranians, poodles, maltese dogs and so forth. When I stepped in the festival, I honestly couldn’t contain my excitement, the variety of dogs was amazing!
All the dogs at the festival, were all preety obedient! My mate’s dog kept getting a bit aggressive with other smaller dogs, but I fell in looove with Dixy (I think that’s how you spell his name).
Baby farm animals! I chose to not go inside, because I have a this deep fear of chickens. I don’t care if they’re babies, anything that looooks like a chicken I’m going to back off haha.
There were many tents, who were like providing free vet checks, face painting, pony rides, petting area, free limited micro chipping as well as animal activists.
Beautiful day to be out, looking at dogs and then smelling like dogs haha. No, but honestly it’s so heart-warming seeing humans with their pets. The companionship is just so cute *getting all emotional here* haha.
